After it was known that the Sec
retary Grimes would not ask re
appointment Secretary Hitchcock
and the president have had in mind
a suitable person for secretary of
j Oklahoma after Jaiuary 13th
Congressman McGuire and Capt.
Frantz suggested C. H. Filson to
the president. It is known that he
made investigation and is satisfied
that Filson is the right man for
the place.
It is safe to say that the name of
C. H. Filson will go to the senate
for secretary in time for confirma-
tion before the 13th. There is no
doubt about his selection being de-
termined upon.
