Club Losers Entertain.
A lovely luncheon at tho homo of
Mrs. R. C. Burton last Tuesday was
tho entertainment given to the win-
ners by the losers in tho last series
of tho games played in the Forty-
two club. Pink Cosmos were tho at-
tractive decorations and the deli-
cious luncheon was served buffet
stylo. In the afternoon a new se-
ries of games was started.

Chapel exercises Wednesday morn-
ing wero turned over to the student
body for conducting a political con-
vention. Candidates for editor and
business manager of tho school pub-
lication und each of their campuign
managers made speeches giving the
platform of each candidate. After
the meeting the polls wero opened
und the first student election of the
college was held. Opal Dolan was
elected editor and Neva Denny busi-
ness manager. This is the first year
tho college has attempted to have
a school publication.
First year class of the preparatory
department enjoyed a line party at
tho Sugg theater Friday evening.
