MILLIONAIRE'S POOR
STOMACH.
The worn out stomach of the over
fed millionare is often paraded in
the public prints as a horrible ex-
ample of the evil attendant on the
possession of great wealth. But
millionaires are not the only ones
who are afflicted with bad stomachs.
The portion is far greater among
the lai.crs. Dyspepsia and indiges-
tion are rampant among these peo-
ple and they suffer far worse tor-
tures than the millionaire unless
they avail themselves of a standard
medicine like Green's August
Flower which has been a favorite-
household remedy for all stomach
troubles for over thirty years. Au-
gust Flower rouses the torpid liver
thus creating appetite and insuring
perfect digestion. It tones and vit
alizes the entire system and makes
life worth living no matter what

Mr. Corey's Start
Workmen at Homestead F.
have a story to the cflct that Mr.
Corey the new president of th
stael trust began his industrial ca-
reer pushing a wheelbarrow 19
one of Carnegie's steel works; Coat
be did as much work as any two of
the other men thereby layinj
foundation for the advanccmn
wiiich culminated in his prewaM
aiineHce and that he was paid $1
a day for his unusual exertion. Mm.
Corey declares that thii story it nei
strictly correct. "I was only ia
years old then" tie says "and
probably id less work tiian ant
other employe similarly eng3g4
It is also a mistake that I start4
in at $1 a day. it was not as raucb
as that."
A Champion Truant
Berlin lays claim to the distlno
tio of having the champion tru-
ant of the world. He is a boy oi
10. Nothing could make him at-
tend school and it finally becams
necessary to send him thither eacfc
day in oh?rge of a policeman. This
lasted for a week or so and thn
he began to run away from home
at night eo that the policeman cssj'si
not find him in the morning'. T
stop this practice he was locked vp.
One night he jumped through tSla
window in the room where he waa
confined and landed in tie street
thirty feet below with his k.-Jl and
most of his ribs broken.
