Federated Missionary Meeting.
A splendid attendance and an in-
teresting program made the quarter-
ly meeting of the Federated Mission-
ary Societies held Monday afternoon
at the homo of Mrs. A. 1. Bock one
of the most successful of that or-
ganization. Reports of officers were
heard end only routine business was
given i.ltenllon. The ladies of the
Christian church acted as hostesses
serving lea and accessories. Mrs.

Phillip Hendricks an Indian of An-
adarko. came to this city yesterday
and before he had passed many
hours had met with a friend who
proceeded to guide him astray.
When seen at the polide headquar-
ters yesterday evening Hendricks
was a friend to everyone-and there
was not a lodge in existence of w hich
he was not a member in good stand
ing taking himself as authority.'
This morning when he -was brought
before Mayor Coffnian be pleaded
guilty to the charge of being drunk
"and was fined five dollars.
John Rogers a Meiicah. was
charged with being plain drunk and
pleaded guilty to the charge. When
asked if he had the money to pay i
his fin1' of. five dollars he replied In !
the negative and was forthwith plac-
ed back in the city bastile. Ha was
told however that if be did not pay
his fine he would have to shovel
coal for four days to work out the
fine. The Mexican evidently did not
like the idea of having to fto the
