when the firemen arrived on tho
scene. Through 'hard work the flames
were not only confined to the build-
ing in which the fire originated but
were extinguished before the building
had been too badly damaged. TliQ

ftroyed. with no insurance. No one
was at home when the" fire broke out
end the alarm was turned in by neigh-
bors whose attention had been attract-
ed to thi smoke and flames issuing
from the .vindows.
