Brothers cars are not built in series

material r Me In appearance It Ii
often very ! i fl it lilt to determine just
how old the car is. Therefore it is
taty to mile; gross misrepresenta-
tion tJ .i-ft-i u live purchasers. Many
a 'iif.:i tiap leen told he is buying a
1919 Dodgo Brothers car when in re-
ality the car was built three or fou"
years earlier. Unscrupulous persons
occasionally resort to this practice
deliberately but very often It U
done throufch error us persons out-
Bide our own organization have no
accurate way of deciding this Im-
portant point.
"Dodge Brothers have supplied us
with complete records of production
so that -wo are enabled through cer-
tain num'bers on the car to toll just
-when it was built. Therefore it Is ap
parent that nobody Is ever deceived
on this point when ho buys from oui
used car market. It Is also our policy
to overhaul every car We take in be
fore putting It back on the. market.
We Insist on having used cars in
good condition before they are sold.
This not only makes satisfied cus-
tomers but it tends to maintain
the good reputation of Dodge Broth-
el a motor cars.
"It would pay the public to be
more careful in buying used cars.
People should insist on the accu-
rate information they are entitled to
When buying. They should above all
know just whom they are doin-
business -with and try to determine
whether their future good will and
satisfaction means anything to tin;
person they are 'buying from or
whether immediate profit is the sole
object of the deal.
"Meanwhile we shall be glad to
help along the cause of batter use-1
cars iby giving purchasers the Infor-
mation that will enable them to tell
whether they have been h.mestl
dealt with." 20-lt.
