ed that the cholera here has abat-
ed. The cases recorded here to-
day are of a milder form and
Americans here have ceased to be
alarmed concerning the oatbreak.
The disease has been entirely con-
fined to natives and Chinamen.
Whiteman Brothers are rapidly
pushing.their new wholesale build-

about finished and work has begun
on the tiled floors.
