A 'BRAIN MARKET.
Novel Institution for Htnh Grade Em.
ployment.
(New York Journal.)
Thsre has long been urea need for
an Institution where the up to date
btlr's man who wants only th
brightest clfveret and moat ener-
getic employe could obtain them.
The average business man la much
dissatisfied with many men In his em-
ploy. He see that they lack ambi-
tion do not take interest in the busi-
ness that they seek to do ae little
work for as large a salary ns noasible.
"If I could find more man who
would consider my business their own
and work as hard for me as for them-
selves I would pay them anything
they wanted" Is a thought that often
ooct'rs to tho employ And he
makes a determined offort to sur-
round himself with such men but as
a rule he can only get a few of the
kind ho wants. Perhaps ho changes
his start frequently but finds the new
men little bettor than tho old. Thoy
are enrol ess their Interests Is In
themselves ontlroly thoy fall to en-
ter hoart and soul Into the work be-
fore them and as they should to make
tho business a great success.
To meet Just such necessities there
has boon established a brain markot
with hoadquartors In New York and
branches in Chicago and other largo
cities to make a business of disposing
of tho abilities of high grado men.
This novel Institution Is really a
high grade employment agency al-
though lt has as "much in common
with tho ordinary employment agen
cy as a responsible business house
has with a street fakir. One of the
most Interesting things about the
brain marketing business is that thoy
report there are moro openings for
good men than thore are men to fill
thorn.
Distress After Eatlnp. Cued.

try Kodol Dyspopsla Curo and lt cured
me ontlroly. Now my sleep Is refresh-
ing and dlgoatlon porfoct" Sold by

WHY Mr. mock failed.
Charged With Being a" Bolter and

Governor Ferguson will not appoint
a party bolle. none uch need ap

be useless.
In spsaklax today regarding an ap-

of commissioners the governor stated
that thore were a number of appli-
cants but that ho understood .rotn
statements made to htm by reputnblo
citizens that certain ones of tho ap-
plicants had bolted the Republican
city ticket In Guthr'o this spring and
that ho could not ns a Repnb'.lcnn
namo any such to a position under
him. "Truo bluos" the' i.-ust be to
get tho appointment.
In this connection the governor
statod that he had about decided to
namo M. I Mock for the commission-
urshlp but was Informed mat he lnd
bolted tho city ticket and therefore ht
was compelled to cnuno his decision
