dall -white and Dan Kennedy and
Harry Golden negroes were lynched
at Mulberry thirty miles from here
early today for the murder of Barney
Brown a white man. Randall -was
charged with being the koeper of a
"blind tiger." and Brown was a prom-
inent advocate of prohibition In a
campaign which ended yesterday
Monday night while Brown was en-
route home he was shot from ambush
and his throat cut. Tho pooplefiot
Mulberry became enraged andtyos-
terday secured evidence which loft
them to boliore that Randall had em-
ployed the negroes to kill Brown. The
three men were taken into custody
and one of the negroes confessed that
Randall had hired them to commit tho
crime Tho trio were taKon out about
3 o'clock this morning and lynched
their bodies being riddled with bul-
lets It is said tho work was done by
a mob of about fifty masked men
many of whom wero prominent in tho
county

eral store of W.A. Payne at Moore

escaped wlth a hundred dollars In
money and two hundred dollars worth
of clothing.
Burglars who evidently knew the
combination of tho safe entorod the
office of tho Oklahoma Packing Co.
last night and stole money and checks
to tho amount of five thousand dol-
lars The combination was worked
and the cash drawer was battered
open with a hammer

of 50 tons por day and will omploy 25
