REFLECTIONS OF A BACHELOR.
(New York Press.)
The worst thing about making love
In poetry to win a woman lsl Ivlng up
to It In prose after you have won her.
A woman Is never sure that her hue-
band Is always going to follow tho
straight path; she never doubts that
her son will.
When a woman begins to praise her
husband to her friends for his good-
ness to her she has givon up hope of
ovorythlng olso.
A man doesn't necessarily bellovo
he moans the oxtravagant terms of
Ondenrmont he uses to a woman but
he knows they aro necossary.
The 'netful man Is a success with
women beonuso whon ho sees one In a
cotton shirt waist he makes her bo-
llevo no othor woman could do It with-
out appearing commonplace.

Running of Santa Fe Trains
Oklahoma Interfered With.
Arkansas City Kas. March 19. The
Santa Fo had more trouble with the
telegraph service on the Oklahoma
division last night. All the telegraph
wlrea were grounded between Bliss
and Red Rock and from 11 o'clock last
night until 7 o'clock this morning all
trains ran on time table schedules.
The telegraph wires had been wrap-
ped with wire so that It was Impossible
to get service. About a week ago the
wires wore all cut at the. same place
presumably on account of trouble be-
tween the railroad and ranchmen. Th
wire trouble 13 causing the company
much annoyance and steps will be
taken to stop it if possible There
have been several cases similar to this
one and all have been at about the
same place.
