The fourth day of district couit
opened at 9:30 this morning ten
prisoner- from tho county Jail appear-
ing before Judge Burford to plead to
the indictments against them.
Thomas Ferguson against whom
the grand Jury yesterday returned
three Indictments charging hlra with
inoast and rape was tho first to re-
ceive attention from Judge Burford.
Colonel T. S. Jono appeared as atr
tornoy for the donsnuant and County
Attorney Bdgar W. Jonee represented
the torrltory.
Ferguson pleaded not guilty to the
first indlctmen charging him with
Incest upon his svontoen-year-old
daughter. The trial waH rt for
December 17 when be will have an
opportunity to face the grave charge.
