Mooswa of the Doundrles.
The possibilities of tho "animal

Not tho least of tho many blosslngs
enjoyed by tho people of Vinita Is tbe

With tho unlimited supply of clean

Job to keep tho dust laid during these
long hot summer day. The quantity
of dust that now accumulates as com-
pared with other years when we had
no sprinkler Is as nothing. It Is
uufortuuulo that all the public high-
ways of. tho town cannot bo rendered
durtlcssand comfortable Inthosamo

Seeking a Death Notice
A sad faced woman came to t)ils
olllce Friday to get a copy of the paper
with a two lino notice of the death of
her son which occurred several weeks
ago. Ilclng a stranger In tbe com-

appoarcd. This It seems was all that
was ever printed of the departed one
her beloved son and she was so eager
to get a copy of tho simple statement
that he had died with typhoid fovcr.

FOOD FOR THE THINKER
No man can Voto intelligently

gent thinking and tho best food
for intelligent thought is that
newspaper which is tho greatost

something to be desired and it is
the duty of every citizen to thor-
oughly inform himself upon the
leading topics of tho day.
Tho Somi-Wookly Republic

equal to the high priced maga
zines. Events of current interest
are sot forth in entertaining style.
There is humor in its pages too
and for tho benefit of the ladies
the latest Paris fashions are each
week exquisitely illustrated and
described. The Republic's Sun-
