M. Chcsney grandfather of C. T.
Chcsney and Mrs. M. 12 Mllford of
this city. The deceased had reached
an advanced age but until within a

robust health. Ho was born in Mary-
land was one of the earliest settleM
of Knox county Illinois ami moved
to Topeka when it was but few times
larger than Vlnlta. A wife and seven
children several of them past the
meridian of life survive him.
