In For It. Andrew J. Tynon and
wifo living on Duck creek southeast of
Prairie City have got into a difficulty
which will likely cause them consider-
able troublo beforo it is settled. Tho
facts as learned aro as follows: George
Armstrong obtained the prlvilego of
cutting hay from a plcco of land ad
joining Tynon's farm and owned by a
widow woman. Tynon claimed that
tho boundary of his farm extended be-
yond and included tho plcco of land
alluded to but Mr. Armstrong began
notwithstanding to cut and bale the
hay. About ten days ago when some-
thing like eight acres bad been cut and
raked and while the mon were at din-
nor Tynon we aro told hauled away a
load uud his wifo set fire to there-
maider. Mr. Armstrong stated the
woman boasted of her act and appeared
to think it justifiable. Tho matter was
reported at Fort Smith and Tynon will
havo to answer for larceny while his
better half tries to show that she is
not guilty of arson.

About the Fair. N'over wero tho

will operate in our favor is tho fact
that tho Parsons meeting occurs on

which aro exhibited tboro aro almost
certain to come here. Peoplo all over
the nation aro preparing to attend and
all reports aro such as to warrant tho
belief that thero will bo more than
twlco as many exhibitors as heretofore.
Tho fact that no entrance fee la charged

prove a great inccntlvo to increase tho
number of those competing for tbo
diflercnt prizes. If you havo anything
