A Big Success.
McAlester's first sales day was
a decided success both from a
social and business standpoint.
The early morning cars on the
interurban were loaded to the
guards and every incoming car
up to 8 o'clock in the evening
was heavily loaded.
The various business houses
did a fairly good business ha-
ing placed on sale many inviting
bargains which were readily
snapped'up by the out of town
shopgers
Burba's concert band 16 pieces
rendered splendid music during
the day and in the evening from
7 to 9 gave an open air concert
on Choctaw Ave. that was en-
joyed by over 1000 out of town
visitors.
McAlester is to be congratulated
" on her first Trade's Day bat we
would suggest they furnish more
amusements to the visitors.
