The Gerrymander is distinc
tively a Democratic institution.
It was invented by a Democrat
a century ago and lias been car
ried to tbe limit by the Demo-
cratic Constitution of Okla.
If tbe recent Democratic pri-
mary is a fair sample we want
no more and tbe Constitution
sbould be rejected for that rea-
son alone.
because a few of them own
property there but cusses like
chickens come home to roost.
It is reported that Mr. Holden.
editor of the Fort Gibson Post
is a candidate for Post master
at that place. Mr Holden is
a good Republican and deserves
whatever he may ask at tlio
hands of his party. His repub-
licanism dates back to the days
of slavery and we believe that
every Negro in Fort Gibson will
do all in his power to see the 'Old
Sage of the Barracks" the next
postmaster.
A large crowd of people will
leave here for tbe Exposition at
Jamestown Virginia. To all of
the people of Oklahoma we are
pleased to say that the Cimeter
will be found each week at the
Negro exhibit.
The Times Democrat is what
it always has been a bitter
democrtic Nogro hating sheet.
It can never see any good in a
Negro however upright honest
indstrious and sober he may be
but always has its poisonous
venom at hand to d n any
one who wears a black skin.
The cost of tbe campaign for
one democratic governor was
$75000 and a democratic sen-
ator $100000. There was no
chance for the hill billies to get
a plum. The silk sock fellows
were the only ones in the game.
They will have to spend another
fortune and get nothing.

Haskell seems to have cleaned
up tbe woods and wen out in fine
shape. He's a Muskogee man
which generally means a fight-
er. Of course we Republicans
will have to skin the gentleman
when the time comes.
Roy Hoffman was beaten by
tbe blind man Gore. We used
to admire Roy but when he like
Gore and the others began to
curse tbe Negro our admiration
for him ceased.
It was Haskell and the cousti
tution now it is Haskell and
Harmony. That is an admis-
sion upon which the demmies
are split from hades to breakfast.
The New State Anti-Lynch-Law
