PROTECTS USERS OF ROYAL."
Baking l'omlrr Company Win Its Case In
United HUtee Court.
The decision of Judge Showaltcr inn
recent caso that cumo up beforo him
sustains the claims of the lloyal com-
pany to tho exclusive use of the name
"Royul" as n tnidemurk for Its baking
powder. Tho special importance of
this decision consists in the protection
which it assures to the millions of con-
sumers of Ilnyal baking powder against
inferior nnd unwholesome compounds.
Tho excellence of this article has caus-
ed it to bo highly esteemed ami largely
used almost tho world over. Its high
standard of quality having been al-
ways maintained consumers have
como to rely implicitly upon the "Roy-
al" brand as tho most wholesome and
efficient of any in the market. Tho cu-
pidity of other manufacturers is ex-
cited by this high reputation nnd large
demand. Very fcvv'of the hundreds oi
baking powders on tho market arc safe
to use. If their makers could sell
them under tho name of a well known
reputable brand Incalculable damage
would be dono to tho public health by
tho deception. Tho determination oi
tho Royal Baking Powder Company to
protect the users of the Royal baking
powder against imitators by a rigid
prosecution of them makes such imita-
tions of Its brand extremely rare.
