IMKIi FOIt COMMISSIONER
Tho announcement ot F. J. Imcl

an Commissioner of tho 8ccond Dist-
rict 'appears In our announcement
column this week. Mr. Imel haB
served tho county ono term past. Ho
has beon tho minority membor of
the Donrd and many times measures
havo been passed that did not meet
With his approval but having only
ono vote against two was powerless
to 'prevent. In moat Instances ho
took tho precaution to havo his vote
In tho negative' recorded and wo be-
lieve that If an Investigation Is ;nndo
of his action while a member or tho
present Hoard It will bo found that
his vote and Intluenco has been used
for tho right and fair thing for tho
whole county. Mr. Imcl does not
claim to havo made no mistakes but
he does claim and ho Is Justified
that ho has made no wilful errors.
Outside nlflucncc has not prejudiced
his action or won his support to any
measure which he did not bellovo to
be right. He Is an honorable consci-
entious man and is asking the re-
nomination and election feeling that
another term ho will bo better quali-
fied to servo the county because of
the experience he has had the past
term.
Tho Herald Is glad to present tho
namo of Mr. Imcl. Wo believe him
to be a man of honor and ono who
will discharge tho duties of his of-
fice of county commissioner with
fairness to nil. The voters of this
district will do well to consider long
before they elect a man without
audi experience to (III his placo.

For Active Service
American business has been motorized. For both short and long hauls the gasoline
truck has proven itself a thoroughly efficient form of transportation. And no
intelligent field Executive would dream of tackling his job without the proper
equipment a dependable touring car or roadster.
It would amaze you to know how many Lawyers Doctors Architects Contractors and
Specialty Salesmen have adopted the Paige. These men have bought their cars
for active service and they have been influenced in their selection by practical con
siderations only. They deliberately sought out the car that would offer the greatest
dollar'for'dollar value and they found it in the Paige.
