The semester examinations will be
held for tin; Grade December lOlli
and 20th; for the High School Decern
ber 23d and 2-tth. These examination
are the flnt complete test of the year
and will determine the classification
for the tecond semester.

their children in the various branches
studied.
The grades made on tho mid-year
examinations cannot be sent out until
after the holidays for the reason that
the teachers have their regular work
to keep up and careful gradation re-
quires much time.
The basket ball teams havu matched
a number of games to be played in tin-

and the girls havu a game matched

Telephones havu recently been In-
tailed In the school buildings. Phone
call can only bo answered during in-
termission periods.

Thursday for a visit to their old homo
in Missouri. From there they will go
to Florida where they expect to stny a
year if they can stay away from Den-
ver county that long. That Mr. Klep-
per and family left many warm friends
hero was evidenced by the invitations
to turkey dinners which came thick
and fast the last few weeks of their
stay in our midst. Here's wishing
them a delightful trip and an acute at-
tack of "Heaveritls'' at the end of tho
year.

the Klepper farm for next year.

Knowlcs and back one day this week.
Mrs. Girton's parents Mr. nnd Mr;
Whitsett from Ellis county came over
and spent Thanksgiving with her re-
turning hoire Sunday.
Twin Mounds will hold a Christmas
service. Committees were chosen last
Sunday.
