therein in the administration of the
local government of said county town-
ship or school district heretofore adopt-
ed or taken shall bo filed within
thirty (30) day from the adoption of
tliis resolution.
Section I. That the County Clerk of
said Homer County bo and ho is here-
by authorized nnd directed to file a
certified oopj of this resolution with
the Clerk or o .her recording officer o(
each school district in said county and
with the township clerk in each organ
ized township in said county; and said
county clerk is further authorized and
directed to publish a true and complete
copy of this resolution in the Heaver
Herald a newspaper published and of
general circulation in said county.
Section f That there aro many mat-
ters affecting thu public health peace
and Safety requiring early legislative
action in thu several school district;
and townships in snid Heaver County
by reason whereof nn emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this reso-
lution shall go into effect and becomi
operative immediately upon its passagt
and approval.
On motion of Haskell duly seconded
uy Yundoburg Sections 1 2 il and I
of said resolution nnd order were sep-
arately road considered nnd adopted

Thereupon Commissioner Haskell of-
i fered the following resolution and
moved its adoption
Resolved Whereas the County of
i Heaver State of Oklahoma now has
oultandingeertaiii warrant and judg-
' ment indebtedness aggregating with
1 interest the sum of Forty-three Thou
sand One Hundred Eighty-four ($13-
111 Dollar.- all of which represents
indebtedness heretofore legally incur-
red for lawful purposes by said Heaver
County . that all of said warrants and
judgment are now existing and un-
pitd and all of said indebtedness is
now due and payable and there are no
funds in the Treasury with which to
pay the same and
Whereas it is deemed necessary to
fund and pay the same by the Issuance
of funding bond of a like amount for
which full authority if given under
tho provisions of an act of the legisla-
tive assembly of the Territory of Okla-
homa entitled : "An act to enable
counties municipal corporations the
boards of education of any city or
school district to refund ther indebted-
ness" approved March 11 1W3 and
extended and put In force In the State
of Oklahoma by Section 2 of the sche
dule of the Constitution thereof and
Whereas said Hoard of County Com
missioners has arranged for the tale cf
said bonds at a price of par and also
for the surrender of said outstanding
warrant and Judgment indebtedness
simultaneously with the issuance ol
said bonds and the cancellation of said
warrant and judgment indebtedness
with the proceeds from the sale of said
bonds thernforo

in the Beaver Herald a newspaper ol

give the public notice that on the 31st
day of March A 1). 1011 the proper
otlicers of said county will go before
the District Court of said county nnd
there make a showing and ask the
Court to hear nnd determine the char-
acter and amount uf tho outstanding
indebtedness of said County of Beaver
that is subject to being funded undel
the Constitution nnd laws of the S'tnli
of Oklahoma and authorize the Issu-
ance of said bonds in the sum of Forty-
three Thnmind One Hundred nighty-
four ($I31K) Dollar and to sign in
open court the bonds of Beaver Count)

warrant nnd judgment indebtedness of

31. A. D 1011 and shall become due
and payable March 31 . D 1031; shall
bear interest at the rate of Six (0) i cr
centum per annum payable semi-annually

ed by coupons of proper date amount

The Santa Fe Monitor last week gave
an account or an attempt to break up
i country f chool house religious gather-
ing in Southeast Grant county a few
Sundays ago by a man named John W
Beaslcy.a member of the school board
Arrangements had all been made for
an all-day meeting with n basket din-
