a joint Thanksgiving program Wed-
nesday afternoon. November 23d.
School was dismissed November 8th
on account of the election.
Mr Walter Fickel acted as Princi-
pal during the abence of Mr. Swaim
the weeks before election. We have
heard only good reports of the school
during that time. The pupils especial-
ly have been iounding Mr. Fickel's
praises-
'school was dismissed last Thursday
alternoon to attend the funeral of Ed-
win Emberson. A shadow seems to
have settled over the school since that
