Ha Kept Faith.
As proof that the Republican party
ha kept faith with the people in the
fulfillment of pledges we point to the
railroad bill the McUall bill providing
for the publicity of campaign expenses
the appropriation for the Taft tariff
commission all of which measures
will be completed by the present re-
km of Congress.
We extend a hearty welcome home
to oar former President Col Theo-
dore Roosevelt and commend the
movement to make his welcome a na-
tional demonstration.
btandi For Labor.
The Republican party has stood for
the farmer and the laborer a? well as
for all classes. The present high
prices of the products of the farm are
the direct result of the beneficient
policies put into effect by the Republi
can party. On the soil depends the
prosperity of our country. hen the
tillers of the soil are prosperous every-
body prospers ; then all labor receives
its just reward and plenty and happi-
ness are found among all the people.
Enacted Anti-Trust Laws.
The Republican party is the original
anti- trust party. It has enacted laws
and created the Interstate Commerce
Commissions for the regulation of rates
of transportation and the prevention
of combinations of capital inimical to
the interests of the public. By the en
foreinent of these provisions n number

President Taft if given proper support
will through the measures adopted by
a Republican Congress mete out ade
quate punishment to all unlawful com-
binations and trusts.
Improvement of Watcrwajs.
We commend the policy improve-
ment of the inland waterways and urge
that the Arkansas river be included in
the plans for the ultillzation of these
natural highways.
Faors Reclamation.
We endorse the national policy of
reclamation of agricultural lands and !
believe it should be so extended as to '
include drainage as well as irrigation.
We approve the efforts to secure Fede
ral aid in the building of good roads.
We note with patriotic prido that
country is more liberal in the caring
earth as evidenced by the liberal pen-!
sion policy pursued in the past which

Encourage Rural Delivery. ;

adequate allowance iu addition to the
carriers' salaries for the meeting of
this expense.
Condemn the Governor.
We desire to specifically condemn an
executive a insincere unsafe and dis-
honest who will squander public funds
regardless of the purpose for which
they are appropriated condemn a leg-
islature as puerile which will not re-
sent it and endorse the action of the
Republicuii minority which brought
public attention to their profligate
practices by forcing investigation there

that this same executive has openly

We believe that it can be shown that
the trunk line railroads doing business
in Oklahoma are deriving sufficient
revenues from their business in this
state to warrant the enforcement of
the two cent passenger rate; and while

States senators as advisory to the leg-
islature that they may know the will
of the majority before exercising the
elective function.
We are in favor of abolishing the
state dispensary and all appointees
thereunder and leave the enforcement
of the law to the local officers.
Prohibition has been incorporated
into the constitution and is now a con-
stitution nnd i now a constitutional
enactment. Wc condemn the Demo-
cratic state administration for lax en-
forcement of law and pledge the Re-
publican party to law enforcement.
We pledge the party if successful at
the polls to eliminate partisan politics
from our school system and that qua)

state schools
We petition and pry the congress
of the United States to forever hold in
fee simple the title of the Piatt Na-
tional park in the name of the United
States and that they make such liber-
al appropriation from time to time as
the natural beauties and medicinal
qualities of the park demand.
We extend the appreciation of the
Republican oarty of this state to the
intelligent effective and constant work
ganlzatfon of Rebublican clubs
throughout the state. We recommend
that this work be extended to include
a thorough organization of every pre-
einct. township and county of the state.
The delegation of twenty-s'x dele-
gates to the New York convention

tion is hereby authorized to organize
all republican clubs in this state into
a pennaraent league and prepare by-
laws for the govrnment of the same as
co-ordinate part of the National Re-
publican clubs and to have a general
permanent supervision over the same
until a more complete plan of organi
zation is adopted and promulgated in
harmony with the National League
organization.
We endorse the action of State
Chairman James A. Harris in calling
