A Sad Accident.
One of the saddest accidents that ban
been brought to our attention lately
was that which occurred near Florts
last Friday.

What must have been the feeling of
the father as he heard the scream of
his little daughter and looked to see
her instantly crushed to death? It was
indeed a heart-rending scene.

tablished in lieu thereof.
On motion the road petition of Joe

On motion the voting place in Koko-
mo precinct be changed from the Ko-
kotna school houao to Couch's Store-
Motion.prevailed. Ou motion the petition of A.N. Howe
was rejected by request of the peti-
tioners. On motion the remonstrance of T. J.
Hughes was continued until July ses-

Barker was withdrawn by request of
the petitioner.

Beaver county O. T on this 2d day of
April 1007 upon tho whole records in
cluding the order for election mado at
the January term .1007 of the said
Board and the election returns of the
election held under tho said order and
the Board having examined the returns
of said election and being satisfied that
the said election was in nil respect?
conducted according to law and the
terms of the said order and it appear-
ing that a majority of the qualified vot-
ers voting at said election voted for in-
corporation. It is therefore declnrcd
by the Board that said town has been
incorporated by the name of the town
uf Hooker and embraces the following
described territory: Beginning at a
stone at the NE comer of section 34
township 6 north range 17 EOM at its
Inter-section line of U. S. Government
survey thence west 2640 feet to a stoke
thence north 1300 feot to a stake.
