A New Cotton.
About a year ago the Plia nix
liientiouonetl a new cotton which
Dr. E. M. Switzer was experiment-
ing with which he promised ranch.
He secured enough seed from his
small patch of last year to plant
fourteen aeres this year and he
brought a large load to town and
sold it stipulating that he was to
have the seed arrangements for
ginning it wa.s immediately made
every pains being taken to prevent
the seed from being mixed up with
other seed. The result was the
most astonishing thing known in
the cotton line in this country
lie had 2120 pounds of the seed
cotton and he got but 900 pounds
of seed. The lint was not kept sep-
arate but the conclusion is that
there was about 1 200 pounds of it.
This is just the reverse of the or-
dinary "rule of one-third cotton
aud two-thirds seed. A further
test is to be made of the mat-
ter. 'If it continues at that
rate it will lie no unreason-
able matter to expect two bales of
that lint lo the acre. Mr. fewitzer
has since shown r.s some of the
seed cotton sixty holds of which
"weighed one pound. Muskogee

When you have a bad cold Dr. In
clination would recommend Cham-

is pleasant and safe to take. Dr.
Experience would recommend it be-
cause it never fails to affect a speedy

would recommend it because it is
prepared on scientific principles and
acts on nature's plan in relieving the
lungs opening the secretions and re-
