This contest is for a ten mouths
Sfholiirship in the Northwest Texas
Baptist College to he given the
young lady residing in the Chicka-
saw Nation who receives the largest
number of votes up to and including
Saturday August .'il the contest
closing promptly at tl o'clock p. in.
on that day.
A scholarship is also given by the
Akdmokkitk to the young lady re-
ceiving the next highest number of
votes in cither of the departments of
the Indianola Business College ard
Literary Institute.
In addition to the above scholar-
ships the Northwest Texas l'aptist
College donates to the winner a ten
months course in the art department
of that institution.
The Indianola Business of this
city also conies to the front with a
live months' scholarship in the art
department of that institution for
the second winner.
Numberless presents from the busi-
ness men of tiiecity will be given as
per the list published below all of
which will in the aggregate amount
to several hundred dollars.
There are two scholarships to first
and two to the second winner which
have a cash value of $170 to say
nothing of the benefits to be derived
through the courses of study they
embrace.
It remains to be seen who the two
fortunate young ladies will be.
