Few men in this country are better
or more favorably known to the drug
and medicine trade than Mr. E. J.
Schall bayer in the proprietary med-
icine department of the Meyer Br'8.'
Drug Co. St. Louis. He says: "My
boy came borne from school with his
hand badlv . lacerated and bleeding
and Buffering great pain. I dressed
the wound and applied Chamberlain's
Pain Balm freely; all pain ceased
and in a remarkably short time it
healed without leaving a scar. For
wounds sprains swejlings and rheu-
matism I know of no medicine or
f description equal to it. I consider
t a household necessity." Sold by

TbeKaaeaa City Star.
In proportion to the sise of the city
in which it Is printed the Sanaa City
Star has a larger circulation than
any other American newspaper. Ita
remarkable success has been achiev-
ed by its unfaltering adherence to
the rule of giving its readers the best
that the Star's increasing revenues
pould furnish and its improved fa-
cilities could . supply. .The Star was
the first paper to gie its readers a
full week's papers six evenings and
Sunday morning for 10 cent a
thing that could not be profitably
done except when dee on the big
scale the Star does everything. The
Star was also the first to establish a
weekly edition for the trifling price
of 25 cents a year; 110000 regular
circulation for the weekly edition
demonstrates the wisdom of the idea.

DO YOU SUFFER FROM PILES?
If you only knew what thousands
of people have learned you would
suffer no longer. Surgery has been
the only radical help for hemorrhoids
(protruding piles) and that often
fails. The discovery that the com-
mon buckeye is a specific for these
troubles makes it easy to do what
operations have frequently failed to
do. Tabler's Buckeye Pile Ointment
positively cures every form of piles
blind bleeding itching and protrud-
ing. - The remedy that has cured
thousands will not fail in your case'
