A remarkable showing is

and operating expenses was
made public Wednesday which
shows that their gross earning
for the fiscal year up to June 30
1898 was in excess over last
year of $5500000. That net
earnings show an increase of
over 40 per cent as compared
with last year. The officials of
the road estimate th&t with the
good crops now in sight the
above figures will be far exceed
