Did you say Fit?
Did you say Style?
Did you say Shrink?
Did you say Shape?
Did you say Wear?
We have all of them combined together in Koyal
Tailored clothes except the shrink; we do not have that
in any of our clothes.
If you do not believe this come in and let me
show you some of the many samples that I have and try
a suit off of any of them, and you will find after you
have worn them that all I have said is true.

In the good old days when the
writer was a kid out on the plains
of northwestern Kansas, we would
generally replenish the fuel supply
by going out to the grazing lands
and gatheiing “grassnuggets.” Now
that the cattle no longer graze in
nir immediate territory, the nearest
approach we can make toward per-
petuating the old custom is to clip
ilie editorials from some of our ex-
changes, and burn 'em.
Oveh at Caldwell a monthly fi-
nancial report is published by the
city treasurer. To one who lived
in Caldwell five to ten years ago, it
sure does look funny to see a nice
balance in the water and light fund.
At that time there was generally a
big deficit, and every time that
deficit got about so far along, some
member of the water and light com
mittee of the council wou’d build a
new house.

One of our exchanges claims that
the Glass-Owen currency bill, re-
cently signed by President Wilson,
is a duplicate of the bill proposed a
few years ago by Senator Aldrich,
and which was met by a great
storm of disapproval. This is not
true. In many respects there is a
marked similarity, but in the most
important feature there is a wide
difference. One of the crying needs
of this country for many years, and
which finally crystallized in a def-
inite demand, was relief from the
system which permitted the Wall
street coterie to get control of the
circulating medium, bring on a dis-
astrous panic at will and reap great
benefit to themselves at the expense
of the legitimate commercial and
industrial interests of the "country.
Aside from giving a certain elastic-
ity to the currency, the greatest
thing about the Glass-Owen bill is
the giving of this much needed re-
lief. On the other hand, the bill
framed by Aldrich proposed one
great central bank to be located in
New York, thus not only failing to
give the desired relief, but making
\\ all street’s control more perfect
and leaving no avenue of escape.
The Grant County News recently
stated, editorially, that the voters
of this'county had elected to office
a ‘common plug gambler;” that
said plug gambler had been in Pond
Creek and cracked down sixty dol-
lars in a vain attempt to make
"Big Dick” beat three deuces, or
words to that effect. We have no
reason for doubting the veracity of
the News man, and up to this time
have always given him credit for
being fair. But this is not fair. He
has put it up to his readers to eith-
er question the truth of the state-
ment or to believe that any one of
our county officials might be the
guilty one. The News editor should
not ha\e made this statement un-
less he had positive proof. In that
case the name of the official should
have been given and a complaint
forwarded to the county attorney’s
office. -

Remember
Remember the old saying, “The
best is the cheapest.” This is es-
pecially true of a sewing machine.
Many dealers and catalogue houses
claim so much for a little money, and
advise you to beware of agents, who
fool so many people Into buying cheap
John sewing machines, which a r e
often very short lived and do very
poor work.
Singer machines are made to do the
work, and to last as long as the aver,
age life of a womin. They are sold on
installments, s> that you can have
two years iu which to pay for them.
^ ou can always get repairs, needles
and oil from the Singer salesman.
