A large two story school building
and school employing 4 teach-
ers.
And a large number of comfort-
able dwellings sufficient to
house 1,500 people.
This above statement will give
one but a faint idea of the im-
portance of the town. There is
none better in all western Okla-
homa outside of Lawton, Hobart
an! Anadarko and within anoth-
er year Snyder will have over-
taken one if not two of these.
The location is oae of the best
and mo3t pleasant in the whole
territory.
The town is underlaid with a
sheet of the bast and purest water
to be found in the territory, which
is reache 1 at a depth of from fif-
teen to thirty feet, owing to the
lay of the ground, this m iking it
possible for the very poorest to
have their own well.
