According to a throa' specia
list who examined Col. Boose
yelt’s throat last week Teddy
must talk less.
Keep your premises clean es-
pecially during the summer
season is the request of the
Board of Health.
Sacrifice something if need be
for tiiwns interests. -Every dol-
lar spent in town boosting re-
turns ten fold.
Oklahoma’s new state capital
building, it is said, will be dome
less. Well that’s better than
paying that enormans rent.
There is still a good many old
cans lying around in the alleys,
The city officials ought to see to
it that they are cleaned ap. The
health of our city is the primary
thing and the enforcement of this
ordinance is essential.

Bixb.v will celebrate.
Bixby is the farmers town.
Bring your friend with you
and come to Bixby July 4th.
Cut your weeds, for the city
authorities intend to enforce the
ordinance
During this good old summer
time both politics and weather
are warm.
Do not go elsewhere for YJixb.v
will have a grand celebration on
lndepence Day.
Tl^e two race for sheriff, it
seems, will be Lhe closest, foran.\
county office.
Again we urge the city officials
to take some action toward light-
ing the stree'ts.
Samuel W. Hayes, who re-
cently resigned his position is
Chief Justice of the Supreme
Court to deliver the race for
United States Senator has been
invited the alumni address at
the Unversity of Virginia.
Frank Ingraham the populm
Clerk of the Superior Court, it
seems, will land the Court Clerk
ship without any opposition.
His proficiency as Superior
Court Clerk is highly appreciat
ed and he deserves the support
of the electorate in the race
which he has entered. Frank is
another public servant who has
made good.
During the past week, Judge
K. f.. Williams, democratic for
governor, spent most of the
time campaigning in tbesouth-
v\ cs4ei ir-pai t of the si.au-*, wAieT;
he has made' thousands of
friends.
Lt has been an open secret for
six months past that every post
man in the state beliveed that
Judge Williams was ghing to he
overwhelmingly nominated and
every attempt of his many uppo
nents to take the band wagon
away from him has met with
failure.
Recently two new candidates
have entered the field, but t hat
only goes to prove with thinking
men the inefficiency of the fight
being waged against Williams
and it does not require a great
mathematician to figure that it
will be better for Williams if the.
opposition to him is divided
among seven rather than five
opponents.
