Exciting Experience of Autoniobllleta

A thrilling story cf how (he side
slipping of a motor car nearly resulted
in a man being roasted alive is told by
Ernest Esdale, says Motoring Illus-

slowly past a Jain temple, amid the
whooping of natives and the beating
of tom-toms.
“At the temple entrance,” writes Mr.
Esdale, "stood two priests, regarding
us with no friendly visage. Bang! And
our back lire had burst—a deep rut in
the road has caught the wheel, ten.
In a moment we swerve around, and,
horror! Smash right into the temple
door. Alas, we have committed sacri-
lege of the worst kind.
