M. W. Fargo and Rola Fisher hate

residence of her son. Or. J. C. Babb,

A number of new citizens were made
at Watonga last Tuesday afternoon,
by “working a few foreigners over.”
Several applications were turned down
on account of the ignorance of the ap-
plicants.
Last Monday our citizens witnessed
a sight seldom seen in this country,
and that was “snow.” for about ore
hour a very fine snow fell. Of course
it melted ai soon as it touched the
ground.
Mrs lames Harless went Waton-

yesterday afternoon. lie informs us
that several Indians while enjoying
some of Watonga's best whiskey, im-
bibed too freely, and in consequence
thereof Bear Soles, who owned a valu-
able allotment west of watonga, a
short distance, is dead. It is thought
that he was poisoned.
