Deputy >Sh**riji Fpurbw’c brought
Geo. Alexander hi last Sunday. It
appears that George and another
party whose mum* is to us unknown,
were bav;ng a dispute over thp rent
of a pasture, and in some Way John
T. Davis «ot some ch;ps and entered
the gam > with an uplifted chair,
whereiijMin, Alexander, realizing that
there were others, began to cct his
way out, and rs a result, John T.
Davis was quite severely i ut, but it
is thought his wounds will not prove
fatal, as it appears they were across
Ut* back and not very deep. George
seems to have his fighting clothes on
lately. He struck W. Herod two
or three blows last week with his
list.
