short address explaining tho na-

something of the numbers yet

that the people of Eldorado
would support it and that they
would be well pleased.

Words to Freeze the Soul.
"Your son has consumption.
His case is hopeless." These ap-
palling words were spoken to
Geo. E. Blevens, a leading mer-
chant of Springfield, N. C., by
two expert doctors—one a lung
specialist. Then was shown the
wonderful power of Dr. King's
New Discovery. "After three
weeks use," writes Mr. Blevens,
"he was as well s ever ever. I
would not take all the money
in the world for what it did for
my bov." Infallible for coughs
and colds, its the safest, surest
cure"! of desperate lung diseases
on earth. 50c and $1.00. Guar-

Another Good Rain.
At an early hour Monday
morning rain began falling and
continued at intervals through-
out the day, until the ground
was well soaked, and the peo-
ple had the pleasure of walking
in mud fur several days—a priv-
ilege that has been very rare in
this section of the country for
the past year.
This rain insures good wheat
for winter pasturage, which will
be a great help to farmers of
this section in carrying their
stock through the winter, and
will cut a big slice pff the feed
bill.
Postmaster Barnes reports the
total rainfall for Monday and
Tuesday as .88 ot an inch.

The wearing qualities of the Moon Brothers' famous buggy, with the pat-
ent, plugless body, are well known to hundreds of satisfied customers in
and around Eldorado.
The fact that well-to-do men buy the "Moon" today because they have used
the same kind for six, eight or ten years, is certainly good evidence that the
"Moon" is a satisfactory buggy.
Come to our store and we'll give you the names of men who will swear by
the "Moon"—men who have owned one or more of these high-grade bug-
gies and know what they are.
And the selling price—it's low—lower by ten or fifteen dollars thanit ought
to be, compared with the selling price and quality of other good buggies.
We'd like to show and explain the "Moon."
