Olustee, Altus and Headrick,

100 tickets were sold from Altus
alone, and the traiu was crowded
with visitors from other points
The traiu was met by a large del-
egation of business meu and visit-
ors, and all were escorted to the
Hilton hotel by the band, where
dinner was shortly auuounced.
At 2:80 o'clock, after a short
baud coucert, a procession haad
ed by the musicians, followed by
the Altus aud Frederick base ball
teams aud citizens and visitors
generally, marched to the base
ball park at the foot of a moun-

which was given in the pavilion
down town, attracted a large
crowd, and the musicians receiv-
ed generous applause. The band
had arranged a special program,
aud had practiced diligently for
the event. Neatly printed pro
grams weie distributed among
the ladies, which were eagerl\
preserved as souvenirs of the oc

at their camp ground southwest
of town.
As had beeu anticipated, July
4 proper was Snyder's big day.
