Spring Creek Clatter.

Plenty of rain nowdays.
Mr. Kissner has purchased
himself a new spring wagon.
Now the school teachers will be
wandering around for schools.
Willie Perry has been helping
Mr. Dwyer in his cotton this
week.
Silva North has been visiting a
few days with Anna and Ella
Stallman.
Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Schafer
called at Mr. Kissner's last Sun-
day evening.
Mr. Dwyer's and Mr. Perry's
spent Sunday at Mr. Ditch's and
ate ice cream.
Mr. Wilson's sister from the
strip has been visiting for a few
days with the family.
Mrs. McCue has been spending
a few days with her daughter,
Mrs. Goddard, this week.
Mr. Dwyer's house was struck
by lightning last Wednesday,
but not much damage was done.
A number of the young people
in this neighborhood attended
the dance at Mr. Stowe's last
Friday night.
There were quite a few attend-
ed the school meeting last Tues-
day. They elected the following
new officers: E. F. Dwyer, di-
rector; Will Kissner, clerk; and
A. C. Lambert, treasurer.

cash or trade for all kinds of
country produce; also hides and
furs.

Threshing is now the order of
the day.
Mrs. S. S. Tate still continues
to improve.
Little Marie Weber, who has
been quite sick, is now better.
Mr. Stubbs of Orlando has
been working for Oscar Johnson.
Mr. Editor, tell us Who and
What is in the Chapman building
now.
John Long threshed at Mr.
Fredericks' place the last of the
week.
All the Oak Point farmers who
planned to stack have about all
finished.
Those who have threshed say
that the wheat yield is exc ceding
expectation.
Rev. and Mrs. Hoefflin of
Orlando spent last Friday at the
Fred Henn home.
We are glad to report that
Mrs. W. S. Kolb is now much
better. She is able to move
about the house.
William Henn and family spent
last Sunday at the German M.E.
parsonage the guest of Rev.
Beck and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Schleicher and
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weber
werecallers at th e Fred Henn
home last Sunday.
Rev. Buttman of Oklahoma
City took the place of the pre-
siding elder at the German M.E.
church last Sunday.
Nearly everyone who went
from this vicinity on the 4th
went to Mulhall. Off I. C. Iver
was there, and we want to say
just a little word even at this
late day of the nice time and the
nice crowd there, and Mr. Editor,
we assure you we had a nice
time.
The Sleicher family intend to
start for Colorado as soon as
they can get their threshing
done, and make a sale. Their
eldest son Adam is now in Colo-
rado. They are going out there
to farm by irrigation, but we
think they will be glad to get
back here again.
Mrs. Joe. Bolay and Mrs. Fred
Henn each entered their babies
in the baby show at Mulhall on
the 4th, but neither of the
babies were quite three months
old, and they did not stand much
show with those that were eight
to twelve months old, although
both were real pretty babies.
(Note-We do not under-
stand what you mean by the
"Chapman" building. Neither
do you state where this "Chap-
man" building may be locatad.
We will be most pleased to give

you will make the question a
