G. W. Marshall, a successful

east of town, was an appreciative
cal'er at the Ti'ijas office Satur-
day evening and renewed his
subscription to this paper and to
the Dallas News. Also, -J. E.
Locker, another good farmer
living south of town honored us
with SI.75 on subscriptoin.
J. B. Overall, living near Mc
Queen, was in Duke Manday,
accompanied by his father-in
law, Dr. Hyde, Sr., of Eldorado
Mr. Overall his sold here in the
past thir.y days $25.00 worth of
eggs. From a bunch of hons on
his farm he gets about four doz-
en esrgs a day. To say a farmer
can't make money on a farm
in this eountry when he tnes,
would be talking non-sense.
