paid the Times office a pleasant
call.
Jeff D. Stoue, of Quanah, for-
merly connected with the local
house of Perkins Bros., has re-
turned to this city and asoepted
a positiou with the Johusou
Hardware & Implement Co., as
book-keeper. Mr. Stoue will
move to Altus at ouce. The
members of the baud and orches-
tra, in which Mr. Stoue plays
cornet and first violin respect
lively, will cordially welcome Inm
'back. His numerous other
friends will also be glad to see
him.

at Lone Wolf ou April 11. Mr.
Williams has entered into the
employ of the Dixie Lyceum Bu-
reau of Louisville, Ky., aud will

assigued. Mr. Williams is a flu-
ent talker aud au earnest studeut
and his lectures will be of inter-
est.
The building formerly used as
au office for the Citizens Lumber
Co. has been purchased by Mr.
Dye and moved to a point ou
East Maple street directly in
front of the Frederick House.
Rumor has it that Mr. Dye will
erect two neat residences ou this
lot and that this building will
form part of oue of them. It
will be a fiue improvement for
this handsome residence street.
