passenger train was held up by two
masked men near Red Rock. The
robbers entered the express car and

no clew to the bandits.

regular semi-annual furniture sale
reached its height during the past
week Representatives of nearly
all the largest houses in the United
States have been here during the
past twenty days inspecting the new-
designs and placing their fall orders.
Quite a number of buyers will arrive
during the week, which will close the
season. The purchases have been
more liberal than six or twelve
months ago, and a fair fall's work for
the factories is assured.

1. He says that he is determined to
enforce the law more vigorously than
