SIDE AND USE A
The Times is very forry to an-
nounce that the weed crop contin-
ues to flourish in the city despite
the warnings of the city health of-
ficer, whose sworn duty it is to en-
force the ordinance requiring that
they be removed. The Times hired
a boy to cut its weeds as scon as
the request of the health officer
was published, and we see no good
reason why every other citizen
should not do the same. The same
spirit that permits a dirty, unsani-
tary yard where flies thrive on
filth and transmit disease, lets the
weeds grow until they cover the
place, when the owner will cut
them some morning to get in or
out the door.
G. L. Inglish, the popular edi-
tor of the Sentinel header, has
severed his connection with that
paper and gone to Stamford, Tex-
as, to take charge of the News-
Tribune. Warren D. Forster suc-
ceeds him as editor of the- Leader.
We sincerely regret to lose Mr.
Inglish from the fraternity in Ok-
lahoma, and especially from the
state press association, of which
he was a valued member. Mr.
Forster will doubtless maintain the
present high standard of the
Leader, and we trust prosperity
