ed up the looks of his property.
Good plan.

and pleasure-given years rest.
Mrs. Adam Moser, who has

was stricken with paralysis

critical condition. We trust she
will recover.
Bob Gilfillan writes us from
Templeton, California, ordering
the State Journal sent to him out
there. Bob is one of the old
time residents of Mulhall and it
is certainly natural for him to
want a live newspaper from his
old home community. We hope
Bob and good wife are enjoying
life in the land of the setting
sun.
Just now our friend Walter
H. Matthews is quite busy with
business before the probate
court of Logan county, wherein
Judge Jerry Strang presides.
Mr. Matthews has come to be
one of the best and most popular
administrators of estates of
widows and orphans in the
county, and his opinion is often
sought as to the legal handling
of estates. We know of no
place in all the field of law or
litigation wherein honesty, good
judgment and fairness to all
concerned is so essential as in
the handling the estates of those
who have been so unfortunate as
to be left without the help of
someone qualified to manage and
control property interests. That
Mr. Matthews is so often chosen
is evidence that he is safe and
conservative in taking care of all
business matters left to him in
the interest of the orphans and
widows.
A WORD TO MY
FARMER FRIENDS.
We noticed an advertisement in
the Mulhall Enterprise that a
Guthrie implement firm offers to
pay the freight to Mulhall on all
implements bought at its store in
Guthrie,as an inducement to get
Mulhall trade. Now, we have
had to compete with this firm in
Guthrie for the last ten years,
and we have decided that we can
go this firm one better. We
will pay the freight on imple-
ments bought of us at our store
in Mulhall to any point in Logan
county, and sell you better goods
and at better prices than this
Guthrie firm or any other in
Logan county. Come in and see
us when you want to buy any
kind of machinery for the farm.
We sell everything used on the
farm from a threshing outfit to
a garden rake.
Yours, for a "square deal,
nothing more,nothing less."
F. M. Spangler.
