Eldorado Lad In Limbo
Chester Kounsavall, 16 years
old, of Eldorado, Okla., en route
to Gainesville, Tex., was found
at the Santa depot yesterday
morning at 3 o'clock. Me was
taken to police headquarters and
there questioned as to his home
and what he was doing at th«i
hour. When asked if he wanted
work, he said he was willing to
do anything He said he had
changed his mind about goin? to
Gainesville and as soon as h-
oould earn enough money Iip
would go back home, But find-
ing he could earn only S4 per
week, a picture of home with
parental care and protection with
not so much work to it oame
floating before him, and then he
begged the officers to let him go
home —Oklahoma City Post,
Friday, March 29.
The above refers to Chester,
the eldest son of R. H. Rounsa-
vail, a carpenter, of this city.
Many-youngsters get the roving
disposition as soon as Old Sol be-
gins to shine on both sides of the
street, but when they are con-
fronted with difficulties, as was
the above lad, pictures of home
loom up to them in a dozen dif-
ferent ways and they are more
than glad to once more put their
feet under the parental table
—if they can only get there.
It is a pleasure to learn that
Bonheur Bros, marvel of moving
picture shows is coming to Eldo-
rado, but too bad the opera house
is not ready for their use They
have billed th*? show to appear
at Woods Dry Goods Co. build
ing, on Main street, for Friday
and Saturday nights, April 5 and
6. One picture alone in the en-
tertainment cost $200. and pre-
sents the "Lwve And Adventures
Of A Cowboy In Wyoming." on
a film 2000 feet in length. It is
a fassinating story, interestingly
told The machine used is a 1907
model, absolutely flickerless and
clear, no quiver or vibration to
hurt the eyes. Don't miss it.

THE PURE FOOD LAW
May make some grocers look down in the mouth but we are not in
the least afraid to see the new law come into effect. We have ever
had the reputation of keeping nothing but the freshest and best of
fancy and staple groceries on hand—and why? Because we sell
them. We don't keep them on our shelves. We receive fresh goods
daily. When in need of anything good to eat telephone No. 7 and
make an order with the best and most reliable grocery store in town.
