There were literary exercises
at our school Friday evening.
J. J. Ellis and family visited
Charlie Price and family Sun-

Lloyd McPeak and wife visited

William Morris and wife visit-
ed at the home of Sam Morris

Ben Johnson and Charlie John-
son made a business trip to
Guthrie Monday, returning

The infant child of Mr. and
Mrs. M. R. Bichmann died at
their home Monday of fever.
Thus has this little bud passed
from earth to bloom in heaven.
Dr. Hatfield was called to the
home of Ben Johhson Saturday
evening to see little Mary, who
had a severe attack of la grippe,
but she is much improved at
present writing.
As J. J. Ellis and two child-
ren, Lizzie and Logsdon, were
going to town Saturday evening
a dog made its sudien appear-
ance in the road direct in front
of the horse they were driving,
which frightened him and caus-
ed him to wheel around, upset-
ing the vehicle and throwing its
occupants out in the road. No
serious damage was done, how-
ever, only a little scare and a
resl good shaking up.
