Doan's Kindey Pills cure sick
kidneys,
Many residents of this vicinity
endorse them.
Mrs. W. H. Morrison, S. Market
St., Cordell, Okla., says: "About
two years ago my little girl was
taken ill and her kidneys became
disordered. She grew weak and
thin and we were wholly at a loss
to know what to do. We had doc-
tors treat her and also tried many
kidney remedies, but nothing seem-
ed to reach the seat of her trouble.
Finally a neighbor told me to try'
Doan's Kidney Pills and I procur-
ed a supply. I gave them to the
child as directed and an improve-
ment was soon noticeable. She
continued to improve and the con-
tents of two boxes of this remedy
made her feel better in every way.
I cannot fully express my gratitude
to Doan's Kidney Pills for their
good work."

Do farmers eat the proper
sort of food ?
The farmer of today buys a much
ger proportion of the food that goes
the table than he did ten years ago.

The widespread tendency in the cu/

aten is due very largely to the recent
emonstrations by scientific men that
the Quaker Oats fed man is the matt

Farmers should give this subject
careful thought ana should increase
the quantity of Quaker Oats eaten by
themselves, their childrcu and the

Wichita Falls Breaks Even on
Two Pretty Games—Rained
Out Sunday.
The series of three games sched-
uled between Altus and Wichita
Falls was knocked into a cocked
hat Sunday by a glorious rain.
The opening game, Friday, was
placed to the credit of the Alfalfa
Balers by a score of 5 to 3. The
game was a pretty exhibition and
was given a liberal patronage.
Saturday the Irish lads took the
game by a score of 3 to 2. Altus
lost the game by a wild throw.
As we go to press a series of
three games is in progress between
Altus and Henrietta. Saturday
the locals will go to Wichita Falls
for three games. For this occa-
sion the Northwestern will give a
rate of $1.50 for the round trip.
