Haskell Favors President's Idea
Governor Haskell likes Presi-
dent Roosevelt's idea as convey-
e 1 in the president's recent pro-
dim;; tion for a meeting in Wash-
ington next May of senators,
congressman, governors and
three representatives from each
state to disci ss economics in
general. Governor Haskell
authorized the following state-
ment tonight:
"The president plan to discuss
in this manner economics in gen-
eral, the cultivation and preser-
vation of forests, development of
substitute material, utility and
preservation of natural resources
and in general hand down to
posterity a country not impover-
ished by depletion of natura) re-
sources, is, in my opinion, an ex-
cellent idea. The results which
I expect to see follow such a
meeting are those which invari-
bly follow the concentration of
American thought npon patriotic
and progressive subjects. In
short the questions proposed by
the presidents are vital to the
country's future, and thought
upon the subjects is sure to pro-
| duce good results."

Snyder-DeiMrliae
Louis, Okla,, Nov., 25, 1907.
Yesterday afternoon at 2
o'clock Mr. Roscoe Snyder and
Miss Ida Demerline were happily
married at the home of the brides
parents. Only a few relatives j
and special friends were present j
to witness the impressive cere- \
mony which was solemnized by j
Rev. Moon, pastor of the Metho-
dist church. Mr. Snyder is the J
oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G.
W. Sdyder of this place and is
an entergetic young farmer. He
is quite a favorite in the social
circies of Louis. |
Miss Ida is the youngset
duaghter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. j
Demerline of Louis and is a'
young lady of a most lovable
' character and methinks Mr.
Snyder has won a jewel to reign
as queen over his home. The
young couple will reside as Louis.
