SCOTT FERRIS.
Mrs. Alice Thompson, who has
been visiting her son, Mr. E. M.
Thompson, returned Sunday
morning to her home at McComb,
III. She was accompanied on
her return by her little grand-
daughter, Vivian.
Geo. J. McClure was up to the
opening of the new town of
Cambridge, Monday and Tues-
day. The new town is on the
Orient about seven miles north
of Lone Wolf. It is said to tie a
"hummer."
M.*. Guy Donald, formerly of
Washington county, Arkansas,
who has been seriously ill for the
I ast three weeks with typhoid
fever, at the home of J. J. Bris-
tow, is reported rapidly recover-
ing.
NOTE: Bryan's name will not ap
pear on the official ballot. The only
way to register your rote for him is
to vote for the seven democratic can-
didates for presidential electors.
The eoly safe way to vote for the
presidential electors and make sure
your vote will count for Bryan is to
stamp In the circle under the Rooster,
thus voting a straight democratic
ticket.
An attempt to scratch your ticket
and vote for some republican candl*
date is apt to result In y or vote
being thrown out entirely because of
a mistake. We can't afford thin year
to take any chances. We want to
make Bryan's majority In Oklahoma as
large as possible, and in order to do
that, every loyal democrat Jbould
place one mark In the circle undeT the
rooster and atop right there. That
votes the strslght democratic ticket,
and there can be oo question about
your vote being counted for Brjan.
While the supreme judges are nom-
inated by districts, they are elected
from the state at large, so every vot-
er should vote for one supreme judge
from each supreme court judicial dis-
trict. However, If you vote the
straight democratic ticket by mark-
ing in the circle beneath the rooster
your vote will count for the two can-
didates for supreme Judge. One stamp
In the circle under the rooster is all
that Is required to vote for every
democratic nominee.
