that I will be with you on the
birthday of our groat republic.

The report has gone out that
you will be charged to enter the
celebration grounds. This is
not true. Everything on the
ground will be free, including
the ball game and all sports and
amusements, excepting what you
buy at the stands. Come and
have a good time. You certainly
will want to hear Senator Gore
speak; he is the greatest orator
in the west, and you will miss a
treat il you do not hear him.
Failing to secure a baloon as-
cension and a barbecue, the
committee lias provided for lire
works; so there will be fire works
at night.
You Are Invited
to Attend
The young ladies of Perkins,
are all invited to attend the
Philathea Class held at the
Baptist church Fridoy evening
at 8 o'clock. All the ladies
who areinterested in Bible study
should attend these meetings.
The class is taught by Mrs.
J. P. Hickam, who makes each
lesson very interesting. Come
and bring someone with you and
study the Bible with us and
secure a class pin which shows
that you are interested in the
laws of your Creator

Taking the Census
In taking the census as order-
ed from Washington, it was an-
nounced that Gov. Frantz would
appoint one census taker in each
of the 75 now counties, of the
state, who in turn will appoint I ^ u "consulting "tlamon "in
