Mr Douglas Macbotka while
out riding a motorcycle Sunday
evening was badly injured when
the motorcycle turned over. The
handle biting him iD the side.
The Drs. were summoned from
Clayton but the roads are awful
muddy after so much rain. We
hope he will soon be up and
around, he was nobet-ter last
heard from and the Dr. thought
he would live.

but we had a good meeting

the sick list for the past week

Saturday after a ten weeks visit
in Kansas
Frank lfachotka was kicked
by a mule one day last week, the
Dr. took several stitches in his jaw
but the bone was not broken
Ruth Miranda was a guest at

Haverstick, and Misses Sallie
Sanders, Carrie Alexander and
Edith Walton. In the absence of
the regular secetary Mrs Whit-
ington was secetary protein. The
next meeting will be at the home
of W. D. Saudere Aug. Uth, every
one is cordially invited to attend,
Mrs Whitington entertained
her Sunday school class to an ice
cream social Wed. evening.
