Crackers With
A Kerosene Flavor
They are known as the common bulk soda cracker. All
grocers don't have them in this flavor—some of them do.
It's no fault of the grocerman. H-j sells bulk soda crackers
because a few customers still buy ihem as a matter of habit. He
also sells kerosene.
Between measuring out kerosene and putting bulk biscuit in
a bag things will get mixed.
If you do not fancy the kind with the kerosene flavor ask for
Uneeda Biscuit in the ln-er-seai Package.
Made with the utmost care; clean bakeries, clean
bakers, best material. Packed in an air tight, dust
proof package that does all that it was made to do—
keeps the biscuit fresh, clean and dry. They reach
you in perfect condition—just as they left the oven.

HOLIDAY GOODS
AT THE CITY DRUG STORE
IN MULHALL
Tne scnool lands are destined to lie j
a bone of contention in tills territory t
until their disposition Is definitely »
settled That a greater amount of t
revenue can be obialned by the teri i- t-
toryorstaie holding the lands audit
leasing them, thero is no question, j *
If this can be done without the fre- fr
t
quent recurrence of scraps with the t
lesseees, when a readjustment of the |
rents become necessary the interests t
of the school fund would demand tins
method. But if these lands are, from
time to time, to become the source of
strife and contention, even to the
pointof making it a political quest ion,
It is to be doubted if the additional
revenue to the school fund would com-
pensate for the strife and unrest.
This phase of the question, together
with the fact that men on leased lands |
will not improve them as well as i Will be found the most beautiful line of holiday
though they owned them, will have goods ever brought to Mulhail, consisting of Roger
weight in determining that the land
shall be sold, although the experience
of other states in thus disposing of
their school lands, has not been such
as to make that manner of disposition
very attractive. Xt becomes a ques-
tion as to whether Oklahoma shall
hold on to a sure thing, the title of
these lands—or sell them and run the
chances of loosing a large portion ol
it as has been the case in other states.
The settlement of this question is of
such difficulty and importance that
Tiib Enteiu'HIsk is inclined to second
the State Capital in the suggestion
that the matter he left to a vole of
the people at the time of the consti-
iution, thus separating It from all
partisan entanglements. As we see it
now, it seems to us much preferable
that congress have a string on these
school lands until the people have said
how they shall be disposed of. In
view of the past, we verv much doubt
the wisdom of putting the disposition
of these lands in thehandsof the legis-
lature.
