No country on narili isheiter adap -

genius of her yeomanry all combine
to make Iter the Ideal milk ptodudng

The Industry, however, is merely in
Its infancy and at, ilns stage there is
great danger that Ihe false methods
and unbusinesslike -elieiiis w hich are
so likely to be indulged in by those
who aie not fully is'sted. may discour-
age and hold back her further develop
nient.
For the past two or three years
there have lieen many stock organiza-
tions formed to liuiUI small creameries
by subscription. Amounts from $3iiOO
tn $5000 are subscribed to put up a ti
'««i plant the balance generally going
to the promoters. On account of the
iudusiry being new the creamery is
not generally patronized, and the re-
sult failure not onlv to pav dividens
onstock but even to pay runningexpen-
sesthe year round. All this gives a
black eya to the busiues
Legitimateconcernes, however, are
operating in this territory offering to
the up to-date farmer a proposition

lnenls are absolutely sure. The hand
sepera or has moved the skimmlngsta
tion from the town to the farm, ana
now the cream is marke'ed just as bu-
ter was in the old skimming station
days, let no man be inveigled Into i
taking stock in a small creamery or
skimming statior. but rather let him
iuvestin hisown skimming station and !
keep it on his farm, marketing his]
cream whenever lie can tind ihe best!
market. Thus he issure of a good big
lot of good fresn milk for feed and a
good price for his butter fat besides.
• tooU larui seperator can be hid for
the price of a harvester, and ten times I
the vaiuc of milk can be pin through
the separator as compared with the
value of grain that can be bundled
with a harvester, Let the farmers of
Oklahoma makt* no mistake but]
Hioroughly investigate i his proposition j

Fzar exp-esssd that this is a mov:m?.nt liDstile to Statehood, though majority for
in the house is large enough to put it through and this may be the result before the
end of this congress The friends of statehood will not bejustif edin rejoicing until a
bill has been agreed to by both houses. Speaker Cannon is represented as being
against the bill and as using his influence to kill it. Delegate McCuire is overwhelmed
with telegrams and letters both for and against the passage cf the bill with the prohibit
tion amendment The liquor men are doing everything in their power to defeat the
bill, and the moral elements are holding mass meetings and petitioning congress to pass
bill with thc-Gallinger prohibition amendment. The fight is now on in real
earnest and the result may not be known until the dose of this congrcss.
